At and around the pavilion, you can find everything you need for a complete day at the beach. If you’ve been lounging and swimming at the beach, there’s a nearby shower available. If you’ve taken a nice beach walk with your dog, we have water bowls for your loyal companion, and you might also want to make use of our outdoor toilets.
On the south side of our restaurant (next to the entrance), you can find the ‘outdoor toilets.’ On the north side of our restaurant, the municipality of Noordwijk sets up a beach shower during the peak season, so you can rinse off the seawater and sand.
Next to the south terrace, between our restaurant and the dunes, children can play to their heart’s content in our playground. It consists of a large boat-shaped climbing structure, group swings, suspension bridges, tunnels, and slides. The equipment has been designed by the owner, Jan Klinkenberg, and certified by the quality mark institute.
Naturally, you can also rent beach beds, wind screens, sun loungers, and umbrellas at Beach Pavilion De Zeemeeuw. Enjoy a day of relaxation and soak up the sun, sea, and sand. Our staff will set up the wind screens, bring the sun loungers to your designated spot, and anchor the umbrellas. They will also clean everything up at the end of the day. Pre-booking is not possible.
Price listFrom September 1st to May 31st, dogs are allowed on the entire beach of Noordwijk, and they can run off-leash as well. During this period, dogs are also welcome on our terrace. However, dogs are not allowed inside our pavilion. On the beach and the boulevards, there is a requirement to clean up after your dogs. From June 1st to August 31st, dogs are not allowed on the beach, beach entrances, and boulevards.
The staff at Beach Pavilion De Zeemeeuw make every effort to keep the beach clean. You can find various trash bins around our pavilion. Additionally, you can borrow a collection bag (from the Grondstofjutters) from us. When you return a full bag, you’ll receive a treat. It’s a fun activity to do with your children during a beach walk. Help us keep the beach clean!
Beach Pavilion De Zeemeeuw has a beach wheelchair and a swimming wheelchair available for use. You can use them free of charge. It is advisable to reserve the wheelchair(s) in advance by sending an email to info@zeemeeuw.com (Mon. – Fri.) or to reserveren@zeemeeuw.com (Sat. – Sun.)
